How many people out there have had their lives changed by martial arts? In the case of Emma Kamarac, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu helped her find the confidence and strength to overcome a lifetime eating disorder. This accomplishment cannot be overstated. Millions of women and men have multiple factors that lead to insecurity problems, and suffer loss of confidence, low self worth, and self image problems. Emma was able to place a value on herself through training BJJ, and from there rose to a confident, strong young woman. Now she’s trying to spread her story to those who need to hear it, and help women discover their strength and self worth. She is hosting a work shop on August 16th, free to all women with eating disorders. MMAWIN was glad to have the opportunity to talk to her and spread her message.
For women suffering from a eating disorder, or if you know someone who is, please attend Emma’s FREE seminar. If you have any questions, feel free to contact Bam Bam Martial arts. Thank you, Emma, for all your hard work!
